✔ The competition will be held from January 4th to February 3rd, 2016, hosted by KotiDr.


✔ The African Football Federation announced the list of referees from 32 countries who will judge the tournament, and announced 68 referees, including video referees or VAR.


✔Ethiopian Bamlak Tesema is one of the judges selected to preside over the competition and he is the only one from Ethiopia.


✔ Neighboring country Kenya elected three judges, Sudan two, Somalia and Djibouti only one judge.


✔ Among the 68 judges selected for the competition, six judges are women, CAF announced on its website.


Algeria five, Egypt seven, Morocco seven, Gabon, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Kenya each elected three judges.


✔ It will not be forgotten that Ethiopia participated in the 2013 Africa Cup hosted by South Africa 10 years ago after 31 years.
