"Many people who deserve to be arrested are passed by every day" - Dr. Abiy Ahmed

One of the questions that Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed asked from members of parliament today is the issue of citizens' #imprisonment.

They answered the question, "There are too many prisons".

The Prime Minister; "To tell the truth, if there were more anarchy, insults, and destruction, we would have built a prison instead of a park," he said.

They called it an example; They said that a lot of work has been done behind the Sheraton and they mentioned people standing and urinating on the road about 15 days after the work started.

"Isn't it reasonable if these people are arrested?" he asked.

"We are not building a prison, but a park," said the Prime Minister.

Dr. Abiy, who stated that thousands of people have been released from prison, said, "Now there are hundreds of people in prison. They should be released while being investigated and educated. Keeping people in prison and living in prison does not help a poor government. They need to be taught and brought back."

The Prime Minister "There are people arrested here and there," he said, "and I hope that the force in charge of the emergency will investigate and train and release most of them, and that's how it should be."

"In spite of this, it is good to check if there is something that can be seen along with it," he said.

"It is not good to say that the government's system is flawless. If there is a mistake, we must investigate and correct it. If we are wrong, we must apologize."

"We don't stand idly by when a country is destroyed. Our job is to protect the country, and if we are the protectors of the country, we must ask if we are causing destruction. There are many people who steal and destroy from among us," he said.

The Prime Minister said, "There are people who take part in destruction when they should be wearing #مليو and maintain peace. "Many of them will be caught and they will be questioned. Even if it is not 100% complete, internal correction works will be done on a large scale."
